Rose Bouquet Cake

With this cake, I was attempting to learn how to make roses out of fondant. This was a lot harder than the yellow flowers I had made for the cupcakes a week earlier. Roses are extremely time consuming! However, I love the end product. It was totally worth it!

Fancy Flower Cupcakes

This was my first attempt at making my own fondant flowers. It was easier than I thought it would be; and I think they turned out so sweet. I wished I could throw a tea party right then, but they were mostly consumed by my biggest fans (my family, of course)!
